info@changeworld.net is very interested in how you complete the sentence: Personally, I don't think someone has been fully educated if they haven't had an opportunity to experience ....
One popular answer connecting over 50 changeworld social nets we know of is open space tehnology. This is a method that connects deep-rooted change with conflict resolution and innovation. And in an era when changeworld is the only future we'd bet on accelerating, not to have experienced the simplicity of open space is a lifelong disadvantage. Open space also raises the question: how do I or others host meetings so as to make the most of everyone's time, emotional and entrepreneurial energy given that there are so many ways of communicating in eral and virtual modes. Being confident that you can host a meeting in a way that makes as good use of everyone's time as possible is one of the fastest rising qualities of sustainability, entrepreneurship and leadership value. We are not saying that open space is the only way to host productive meetings but it provides such simplicity that you can ask yourself whenever a meeting faciliator puts in more complex stuff - was this needed?
OPEN SPACE WALL- WHAT ELSE IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
CONNECTIONS BETWEEN INNOVATION & MARKETS, PEACE & COMPOUND ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
The quest for innovation reminds me of 15 years experience I used to write up in trilogy of practitioner books questioning how people structure the ways markets are differentiated, and the breakthrough innovations societies vitally want.. Whilst basic consumer markets such as what do you want from shampoo usually have a maximum of about 5 key differential dimensions (eg male versus female; fragrant versus functional (eg anti-dandruff), gentle enough for a baby to use versus effective but use carefully)...; composite markets such as all personal and health care products usually benefit from a messy wall of wants. As we cluster patterns, up to 11 dneeds ifferentiation dimensions appear and a twelfth both to permit needs that do not fit the classification so far understood or bridge this market with another one - for example what happens at the boundary between non-edible and edible healthcare products (the latter being a category some analysts call functional foods - an interestingly one that Grameen-Danone are taking to a new level of innovation and Nobel economics in ending poverty in Bangladesh)
Innovation as the lifeblood of organsiation can make the above pargarh as simple or as complex to engage. Those who have not moved beyond the industrial age nostrums of scientific management tend to make innovation complex, scray and boxed in so that fads are progressed but substance is not achieved If you want to make transformation simple, you will need open space and other non-linear system interventions as you evolve the communications, learning, and actions architectures that service economy markets are intrapreneurially sustained around. This finding is as simple now as it was 25 years ago when reported by Britain's leading investigator of economics, whom am glad to call my dad: Norman Macrae
These are some introductory reasons why I am excited to co-host this living wall of open space. But the proof will be in sharing the pudding - do you have a top 30 downloads on practising open space or extraordinary communal innovation that we should be posting up, and what descriptive gallery do you want it hung in?

Deepest Innovation Contexts relevant to chnageworld? : Peace, Sustainability Economics (democracies of abundance not scarcity), Cross-Cultural Joy?
Deepest action learnings: Everyone's a meetings host, intelligence of mind and emotions, what's the next connection to project team round?
Conflict resolution and innovation - 2 sides of the same coin; what's open space got to do with Einstein's warning about how technologies of hyper-connectivity will end civilisations if we cannot think outside history's box however perfect it once was; can you trust an entrepreneur (however powerful others him to be) unless she or he is 100% conversant with open space?
Deepest System Maps: how do we live in an age of networks =systems neighbouring systems neighbouring systems, what's open and what's closed and why, are we being driven by courage and fearlessness or chained to the opposites?
